Lolland and Knive

Along with our good friends at DRMA, we have designed the vision for a brand-new green residential area south of Drammen in Norway.

The key feature - the loop - combines and highlights Lolland and Knive’s unique nature and landscape types: Forest, ravine, park, coastline and field. Ample opportunities for recreation and activities exist in the hilly terrain with mountain bike tracks, nature playgrounds, small streams and views of the Drammen Fjord.

Vegetable gardens, fruit trees and berry bushes are planned for the existing fields in the middle of the loop, where locals can grow vegetables, build greenhouses and compost. Its central location also allows food waste from the local residences to be used and become part of a climate-friendly cycle.
